The License Verification Tool allows sellers to confirm whether a buyer's purchase code is valid. This is useful when providing updates, support, or confirming ownership of an item. This guide explains how to use the verification tool inside your Seller Dashboard.

1. Open the Seller Dashboard

Log in to your WhatDigit account and switch to the seller panel.
From the sidebar menu, scroll down to the Tools section.

Select the option named License Verification.

2. Enter the Purchase Code

You will see a simple input field labeled Enter purchase code.

Paste the purchase code provided by your buyer.
Make sure the code is complete and correctly formatted.

Incorrect or incomplete codes may return invalid results.

3. Click the Verify Button

After entering the code, click the Verify button.

The system will check:

Whether the code exists
Whether the user actually purchased the item
License type such as Regular or Extended
Purchase date
Linked product details

If the code is valid, the results will display on the screen.

If the code is invalid, expired, or not found, the system will indicate that no matching data exists.

4. Understanding the Verification Results

A successful verification may show information such as:

Item name
Buyer email address
License type
Purchase date
Code validity status

This helps confirm whether the buyer is eligible for support, updates, or additional services.

If no data is found, the code may be incorrect, fake, or not associated with your item.

5. When to Use the Verification Tool

You should use this tool in the following situations:

When a buyer requests support outside WhatDigit
When delivering files or updates privately
When confirming eligibility for extended usage
When verifying claims of previous purchases

This prevents unauthorized access to your digital products.

6. Common Errors and Solutions

If the tool displays no data found:

Check if the buyer typed the code correctly
Ask the buyer to take a screenshot of their purchase
Verify that the purchase was made on WhatDigit
Ensure the item belongs to you as the seller

If issues persist, contact support through the Tickets section.
