Upgrading your account to a seller enables you to upload digital products, set pricing, track sales, and earn revenue. This guide explains how to activate your seller account and access all seller features.

1. Log In to Your WhatDigit Account

Visit the website and sign in using your registered email and password.
You will be taken to your Buyer Dashboard.

2. Click the Become an Author Button

In the top navigation bar, you will see an option labeled Become an Author.
Select it to begin the seller activation process.

3. Review the Seller Terms

You may be required to confirm or agree to the seller terms.
These terms outline seller responsibilities, item quality standards, licensing rules, and payment policies.

Read the information carefully and continue.

4. Your Seller Dashboard Is Now Active

After activation, your account will automatically switch to the Seller Dashboard.
You will now see additional sections including:

My Items
Dashboard
My Balance
Purchases
Transactions
Referrals
Withdrawals
Settings
Tools such as License Verification

These features allow you to manage your digital products and earnings.

5. Complete Your Seller Profile

Before uploading your first item, update your profile from the Settings section.

Fill in the following:

Profile details
Cover and profile image
Contact email
Social links
Badges display
Country, city, postal code
Address information
Your author exclusivity preference (Exclusive or Non Exclusive)

Completing your profile helps buyers trust your store and increases your chances of approval.

6. Set Author Exclusivity

You must choose whether you want to be an Exclusive or Non Exclusive author.

Exclusive Author
You agree to sell your items only on WhatDigit. You may receive better visibility and badge benefits.

Non Exclusive Author
You can sell your products on multiple marketplaces.

Choose the option that best fits your business model.

7. Enable Two Factor Authentication (Recommended)

For security, visit Settings and enable Two Factor Authentication.
This protects your earnings and seller account from unauthorized access.

8. Prepare Your First Item for Upload

Before uploading, ensure your product meets marketplace requirements:

High quality files
Unique and original content
Clear description
Professional thumbnails
Proper preview files
Correct licensing and pricing
Documentation if required

Meeting these standards increases approval chances.

9. You Are Ready to Start Selling

Once your seller account is active and your profile is complete, you can begin uploading items, earning commissions, tracking sales, and withdrawing your earnings.
