Your profile is the public identity of your WhatDigit account. Keeping your information updated helps improve trust, visibility, and communication. This guide explains how to update your personal details, profile information, images, and social links.
1. Open the Settings Page
Log in to your WhatDigit account.
From the sidebar, select Settings.
You will see multiple tabs including Account, Profile, My Badges, Password, 2FA, API Key, and KYC Verification.
Choose the tab you want to edit.
2. Update Account Details
Select the Account tab to update your basic information.
You can edit the following:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
City
State
Postal Code
Country
Your username cannot be changed because it uniquely identifies your account.
After making changes, click Save Changes.
3. Edit Your Profile Information
Open the Profile tab to edit your public profile.
You can update:
Avatar image
Profile cover image
Profile heading
Profile description
Profile contact email
Your profile description helps buyers or clients understand your skills, style, and background.
4. Add or Update Social Media Links
In the Profile tab, you can also add your social media profiles:
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram
Pinterest
These links appear on your seller profile and help customers connect with you.
Ensure all links are correct and active.
5. Manage Your Seller Badges
The My Badges tab displays all badges you have earned, such as:
Exclusive Author
From India
Author Level
Featured Item
Premium Membership
Verified Account
Badges help improve credibility and visibility on the marketplace.
6. Change Your Password
Select the Password tab to update your password.
Enter the current password
Enter a new password
Confirm the new password
Click Save Changes
Choose a secure password to protect your account.
7. Enable or Disable Two Factor Authentication
Select the 2FA Authentication tab to enable additional login security.
Scan the QR code using an authenticator app and enter the verification code to activate 2FA.
8. Manage Your API Key
In the API Key tab, you can:
Copy your current API key
Generate a new API key
Open the API documentation
API keys are important for developers and external integrations.
9. Complete KYC Verification
If you are a seller or planning to withdraw earnings, open the KYC Verification tab to submit:
Document type
ID number
Front and back images of your ID
A selfie for identity verification
Submit the form for approval.
