KYC Verification (Know Your Customer) is required to confirm your identity and enable secure transactions, including withdrawals for sellers. This guide explains how to access the KYC form, upload your documents, and complete the verification process.
1. Open Your Account Settings
Log in to your WhatDigit account.
From the sidebar menu, select Settings.
Inside the Settings panel, open the KYC Verification tab.
This section is required primarily for sellers who want to withdraw earnings, but buyers may also complete it for additional account security.
2. Select Your Document Type
You will see a dropdown menu for choosing the type of identification document you want to submit.
Common document types include:
National ID
Passport
Driving License
Choose the document that you will upload.
3. Enter Your ID Number
Below the document selection field, enter the official ID number exactly as it appears on your document.
Ensure all characters, numbers, and spaces match the original document to avoid rejection.
4. Upload Front and Back Images of Your Document
You will see two separate upload fields:
Front Side
Back Side
Upload clear, high quality images of your ID.
Make sure the text is readable and not blurred.
Avoid glare, shadows, or cropped edges.
Invalid or unclear images may result in rejection.
5. Upload a Selfie for Identity Confirmation
A separate field allows you to upload a selfie.
This confirms that the person uploading the ID is the real owner.
Follow these guidelines:
Take a clear photo of your face
Remove masks, hats, or sunglasses
Use good lighting
Look directly at the camera
This image must match your ID photo.
6. Submit Your KYC Application
After completing all fields and uploads, click the Submit button.
Your KYC request will be sent to the WhatDigit verification team.
Do not submit multiple requests unless instructed.
7. Review and Approval Time
KYC reviews typically take a short time but may vary depending on document clarity and workload.
During this time, your status will appear as Pending.
Once verified:
Your account will show a Verified status
Sellers will be able to withdraw earnings
Certain security features may unlock
If rejected, you will receive a reason and can resubmit with correct details.
8. Common Reasons for Rejection
Unclear or blurry ID images
ID number mismatch
Incorrect document type
Expired identification documents
Selfie does not match ID photo
Cropped or partially visible images
Correct the issue and resubmit for approval.
9. Security of Your Information
All documents submitted for KYC are encrypted and stored securely.
Your information is used only for identity verification and regulatory compliance.
